Dominion Riverrock announced the bands performing at this year's event today. On Friday, 5/17, DJ Mordecai kicks things off at 6 PM and then you get your headliners Soulive (7:30) and Lettuce (9:30), two funky bands which should get everyone moving.
Saturday, bands start at 1:00 with The Trongone Band, 2:30 with The New Belgians, The Shack Band at 4:00, The Southern Belles at 5:30. The headliners begin at 7:00 with great New Orleans blues-rocker Anders Osborne and then reggae great Toots and the Maytals at 9:00. Mark your calendars and don't miss two nights of great, free music.
Check out Americana singer/songwriter Tift Merritt on Last Call with Carson Daly tonight at 1:35 AM on NBC. Tift recently joined singer Andrew Bird to do a couple songs for a Billboard Magazine Tastemakers @ Sunrise session. You can check out the whole thing HERE.
