Supporting music in Richmond since 2000 - "Hello, my love, I heard a kiss from you / Red magic satin playing near, too / All through the morning rain I gaze, the sun doesn't shine / Rainbows and waterfalls run through my mind / In the garden, I see, west purple shower bells and tea / Orange birds and river cousins dressed in green / Pretty music, I hear, so happy and loud / Blue flowers echo from a cherry cloud" - The Brothers Johnson, “Strawberry Letter 23”

Late Night Pick: Dawes
We last saw Dawes in Richmond when they were putting on a fine performance opening for Bob Dylan last month at the Landmark. Tonight, the band with the Southern California sound (think Jackson Browne or The Eagles) will be on Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC at 11:35 PM. For those of you that dug Shovels & Rope (pun
intentional!) two weeks ago at Friday Cheers and/or Dawes last year at Cheers or opening for Dylan, NoiseTrade is offering a
free 6 song sampler featuring the two bands to celebrate their upcoming tour:
