It's pretty slim pickings tonight on late night. I'll go with Last Call with Carson Daly because you've got three bands on the bill, with the highlight being DJ superstar Deadmau5. I wonder if he gives interviews with his glitter ball mouse head on? Deadmau5 was up for three Grammys the other night for Dance/Electronica. I don't think he went home with one, but it's an honor just to be nominated. At least that's what they tell me. Also on the show are Jamestown Revival and Walk the Moon. Last Call is on NBC at 1:35 AM.
Little Steven Van Zandt of the E Street Band gives the first interview after the new members of the E Street Band were announced. He talks about the decision to go with a full horn section to replace Clarence and also his new TV show in this intereview from Rolling Stone.
Supporting music in Richmond since 2000 - "Hello, my love, I heard a kiss from you / Red magic satin playing near, too / All through the morning rain I gaze, the sun doesn't shine / Rainbows and waterfalls run through my mind / In the garden, I see, west purple shower bells and tea / Orange birds and river cousins dressed in green / Pretty music, I hear, so happy and loud / Blue flowers echo from a cherry cloud" - The Brothers Johnson, “Strawberry Letter 23”
