Supporting music in Richmond since 2000 - "And though I tried with all of my sadness, you know that I have still never weep / For a man who looked to me like he died laughin' in his sleep / Singin' a train song, drinkin' a-one last round / We made 'em leave his boots on, on the day they laid him down / He was a runaway locomotive out of his one track mind" - Todd Snider, “Play a Train Song”

Late Night Pick: Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit
Some nights the late night pick is easy to make and this is one of those nights. Not only do you get the former guitarist/singer from one of my favorite bands, Drive-By Truckers, as the musical guest. That would be Mr. Jason Isbell and his new band, the 400 Unit. You'll also get Samuel L. Jackson. And Carrie Brownstein & Fred Armisen will be on the show talking about the new season of Portlandia, which starts in January. Where is all this? Why it's tonight on Late Show with David Letterman on CBS at 11:35 PM.
