Rock and Roll legend Neil Young is on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon tonight at 11:35 PM on NBC. Hopefully he'll be playing some tunes and he's not just there to plug his new Pono high quality digital music player. I'll be interested to hear for myself if there is much difference in quality. It's going to start shipping any day now so we can all head to the store and check it out. It would have to be a pretty big difference for me to ditch iTunes/iPod and the thousands of tunes I have loaded onto that and start all over again. But good luck, Neil! Here's Neil in 1971 playing his then brand new song, "Heart of Gold":
Here's Sharon Jones on last night Late Show with David Letterman:
Supporting music in Richmond since 2000 - "Hello, my love, I heard a kiss from you / Red magic satin playing near, too / All through the morning rain I gaze, the sun doesn't shine / Rainbows and waterfalls run through my mind / In the garden, I see, west purple shower bells and tea / Orange birds and river cousins dressed in green / Pretty music, I hear, so happy and loud / Blue flowers echo from a cherry cloud" - The Brothers Johnson, “Strawberry Letter 23”
