The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is one not to be missed tonight. Neil Young and Jack White will perform together (hopefully more than once) in what should be a feedback filled, bluesy blowout. As an added bonus, my favorite comedian (currently) Louis CK is the other guest. Neil and Jack will record the song they do and press it to vinyl right then and there on the show. If you're wondering why these two are playing together, Jack helps out on two songs on Neil's latest covers album, A Letter Home, and Neil used Jack's Voice-O-Graph booth to record the album (check the link to the album info to find out what the heck a Voice-O-Graph is). Here's Neil doing "Needle of Death" from that album:
Here's tUnE-yArDs performing "Water Fountain" on the Tonight Show on Friday:
Supporting music in Richmond since 2000 - "Hello, my love, I heard a kiss from you / Red magic satin playing near, too / All through the morning rain I gaze, the sun doesn't shine / Rainbows and waterfalls run through my mind / In the garden, I see, west purple shower bells and tea / Orange birds and river cousins dressed in green / Pretty music, I hear, so happy and loud / Blue flowers echo from a cherry cloud" - The Brothers Johnson, “Strawberry Letter 23”
