It's Beatles Week on Late Show with David Letterman, who of course does his show from the Ed Sullivan Theater, where those Beatles guys made their debut American TV appearance 50 years ago on Sunday. Rumor has is that Paul & Ringo will be making an appearance on the show tomorrow. But tonight you've got the Flaming Lips performing with special guest Sean Lennon. I would expect something really psychedelic from those two. I'm hoping for "She Said She Said". Or perhaps this one:
Supporting music in Richmond since 2000 - "Hello, my love, I heard a kiss from you / Red magic satin playing near, too / All through the morning rain I gaze, the sun doesn't shine / Rainbows and waterfalls run through my mind / In the garden, I see, west purple shower bells and tea / Orange birds and river cousins dressed in green / Pretty music, I hear, so happy and loud / Blue flowers echo from a cherry cloud" - The Brothers Johnson, “Strawberry Letter 23”
