Supporting music in Richmond since 2000 - "Hello, my love, I heard a kiss from you / Red magic satin playing near, too / All through the morning rain I gaze, the sun doesn't shine / Rainbows and waterfalls run through my mind / In the garden, I see, west purple shower bells and tea / Orange birds and river cousins dressed in green / Pretty music, I hear, so happy and loud / Blue flowers echo from a cherry cloud" - The Brothers Johnson, “Strawberry Letter 23”

Children of the Night: Time Waits for No Vampire
On the final episode of Children of the Night: Time Waits for No Vampire (originally aired 2/23/19 3 - 5 AM on WRIR 97.3 fm Richmond Independent Radio): They say time waits for no one, not even a vampire. Yet, time is all we have, all eternity, as we watch lives come and go, buildings rise and fall, nations rule and then be ruled. Time has it’s scars. But through it all, music endures including this eclectic mix featuring Fishbone, The Byrds, Little Feat, Sam Gleaves, Alicia Keys, Sinéad O’Connor, Kendall Street Company, Mike Doughty, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Tubes, Okey Dokey ft. Liz Cooper, Lieutenant and more!

Children of the Night: Drunken Vampire
On Children of the Night: Drunken Vampire (originally aired 2/9/19 3 - 5 AM on WRIR 97.3 fm Richmond Independent Radio): The only problem with hunting victims on weekend nights is when you get one who’s been out drinking all night. That BAC can be quite high and a vampire can feel it! Though the drunk ones are easier to catch. What do I listen to while I chase a stumbling drunk through the alleys while enjoying the abject fear in their eyes? An eclectic mix of music, of course, featuring Joe Jackson, Pearl Jam, Better Oblivion Community Center, The Rolling Stones, Moe., Drive-By Truckers, Lucinda Williams, Kurt Vile, St. Paul and The Broken Bones, Ages and Ages, and more!
