Michael Stipe, former lead singer for R.E.M., will be making what I believe is his first solo appearance on a late night show, tonight on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (NBC, 11:35 PM). No, I'm not counting the one line he sang on the last Colbert Report. Michael also has a kick-ass beard to show off. Here's one Michael did with his old band:
