Supporting music in Richmond since 2000 - "And though I tried with all of my sadness, you know that I have still never weep / For a man who looked to me like he died laughin' in his sleep / Singin' a train song, drinkin' a-one last round / We made 'em leave his boots on, on the day they laid him down / He was a runaway locomotive out of his one track mind" - Todd Snider, “Play a Train Song”

Adam Elk of The Mommyheads & Fall Fund Drive!
Tonight on Handful of Brains (originally aired 10/22/19 7-9 PM on WRIR 97.3 fm Richmond Independent Radio), it's a very special Fun(d) Drive show! I'll be joined by Adam Elk of The Mommyheads! We'll be discussing their latest album and the history of the band and Adam will play some tunes for us too! It's also the next to last day of our Fall Fund Drive. Please donate, if you haven't already, to help keep WRIR independent radio on the air bringing you eclectic music programs and local and national news/talk programs. Independent radio is a much needed alternative to mainstream media. It's important to have these venues in the community to represent views and music you won't hear anywhere else. You can donate at wrir.org by clicking the big, red Donate button. Any amount is welcome, but if you are really in the giving mood and/or want some cool WRIR schwag, here are the donation levels that get you that cool stuff: http://www.wrir.org/station/donate/. Thank you in advance for donating and providing a place for music geeks like me to have a voice and a community and share that with you!
