Willie's son, Lukas Nelson, leads roots rock band Promise of the Real tonight on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (CBS, 11:35 PM). It was announced today that they will be backing up Neil Young at the classic rock mega-concert Desert Trip, held in October on the grounds of Coachella. Who else is playing over the three days? The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters & The Who. Here's the band on Texas Music Scene TV talking about, and then playing, the song "Find Yourself":
Supporting music in Richmond since 2000 - "Hello, my love, I heard a kiss from you / Red magic satin playing near, too / All through the morning rain I gaze, the sun doesn't shine / Rainbows and waterfalls run through my mind / In the garden, I see, west purple shower bells and tea / Orange birds and river cousins dressed in green / Pretty music, I hear, so happy and loud / Blue flowers echo from a cherry cloud" - The Brothers Johnson, “Strawberry Letter 23”
