Friday at The Camel, jam rockers Southern Belles will perform as part of their usual First Friday residency. The Trongone Band will open. Grungy Indie rockers Speedy Ortiz check into Strange Matter on Monday night. This is an early show with the doors opening at 5 and the show will be done by 9. It's $8 to get in. The show will start at 6 with openers Grass is Green, Sundials and Spit-Take. They were named on Denny's Year End Best of List. Yes, Denny's the restaurant.
