A piece of Richmond history is gone. Who will the strippers have to inspire them now?
I will miss Lady Di. When we lived down in Tobacco Row, I used to see her daily and wonder why she was on the side of gentlmen's club and why her nose was so long.
There is a video on the WTVR site http://www.wtvr.com/ with the artist that answers those two questions. Look in the videos on the upper right of home page.
As for a replacement mural, since its on the side of a strip joint, go with a Mount Rushmore-esque tableau featuring Britney, Elizabeth Berkley, Demi Moore and Salma Hayek. That would motivate the strippers to move up from their surrounding from being a pole dancer to being someone who portrays a pole dancer in movies or videos.
